　那年的冬天特別寒冷，

　整個(gè)城市籠罩在陰濕的雨里·
　灰蒙蒙的天空，遲遲見不著陽光，

　讓人感到莫名的沮喪，

　常常走在街上就有一種落淚的沖動(dòng)····

That winter was extremely cold.

The damp rain mantled the whole city.　

Gray sky, and no sunshine.

Inexplicably depressed.　

Sometimes, tears just can't help trickling down

while walking on the street…

在同一棟公寓里...In the same apartment building…

10月6日　天氣晴朗。

她住在城市郊區(qū)的一棟舊公寓大樓里，

每次出門，不管去哪里，總是習(xí)慣性的先向左走。
She lives in an old apartment in the city suburb.
Every time, wherever she goes, she is used to turning left.

他住在城市郊區(qū)的一棟舊公寓大樓里，

每次出門，不管去哪里，總是習(xí)慣性的先向右走。
He lives in an old apartment in the city suburb.
Every time, wherever he goes, he is used to turning right.

10月15日陽光被不斷飄過的云朵遮住，屋內(nèi)的光線忽明忽暗。Oct.15. The sun is covered occasionally by the cloud. Bright followed by dark inside.

他從不曾遇見她。He never meets her.

10月28日天氣晴 Oct.28. Sunshine.

他近來不是過得很好，
晚上偶爾會(huì)到城市中的上流餐廳拉琴賺點(diǎn)外快。
He is not doing well these days.
Sometimes, he goes to the restaurant to make some tips by playing his violin.

11月7日天氣陰濕，有一種冬天來時(shí)，淡淡憂郁情緒。 Nov.7. Cloudy and wet, a thin layer of sadness of winter.

不練琴時(shí)，他喜歡在外面閑晃，繞到城里的公園去喂鴿子，常常呆坐整個(gè)下午。
He likes wandering outside when he does not practice his violin.

Gives food to the doves in the park, always sits idly for the whole afternoon.

11月11日午后，開始刮起一陣陣的冷風(fēng)。Nov.11. Afternoon, chilly wind.

有時(shí)候他會(huì)覺得空虛無力。
Sometimes, he feels empty and weak.

11月19日冬天的陽光將影子拉得好長(zhǎng)好長(zhǎng)。Nov.19. Winter sunshine lengthens the shadow.

　她習(xí)慣向左走，

　他習(xí)慣向右走，

　他們始終不相遇。
She is used to walking on the left.
He is used to walking on the right.
They never meet.

11月23日天色暗的很快，五點(diǎn)不到天就黑了。

她正在翻譯一本悲慘的小說，

讓她常常覺得世界一片灰暗。
She is translating a sad novel,
which makes her always feel the whole world is sad and gray.

12月2日厚重的云層在遠(yuǎn)方緩慢的移動(dòng)。Dec.2. The thick clouds float slowly at the corner of the sky.

　不工作時(shí)，她喜歡逛到城里喝杯咖啡，

　在街上散步，看來往的行人，和路邊的野貓說話。
When free, she likes to have a coffee downtown,
walk along the street, watch the people pass by, talk to the homeless cat.

12月10日太陽出來了，屋內(nèi)卻感到特別潮濕。Dec. 10. Sunshine. Very damp in the room.

有時(shí)候她會(huì)感到人生乏味。Sometimes, she feels life is boring.

12月17日　天氣晴Dec.17. Sunny.

她習(xí)慣向左走，他習(xí)慣向右走，他們始終不曾相遇。
She is used to riding on the left. He is used to riding on the right. They never meet.

12月20日好像又要下雨了Dec.20. Cloudy to rain.

就像城市里的大多數(shù)人一樣，一輩子也不會(huì)認(rèn)識(shí)，卻一直生活在一起····

但是，人生總有許多巧合，兩條平行線也可能會(huì)有交匯的一天。
Like most people in the city, they know nothing about each other while living together…
However, there always are some coincidences in people's lives, two parallel lines might join some day.　

12月22日　太陽微微露臉，濃密的烏云仍堆擠在山頂。Dec.22. Cloudy with sunshine periods. The thick cloud still covers the top of the hills.

于是，有一天，他們?cè)诠珗@里的噴水池前相遇了。
Then, one day, they meet in front of the fountain in the park.　

他們有如失散多年的戀人。
They look like a pair of lovers separated for many years.

冬天不再那么陰郁

他們渡過了一個(gè)快樂又甜蜜的下午。
They had a happy and sweet afternoon.

黃昏時(shí)，突然下起傾盆大雨。他們匆忙留下彼此的電話號(hào)碼，倉皇的在大雨中分手
At sunset, a sudden rainstorm.
They exchanged phone numbers and said a hurried goodbye.

他還是習(xí)慣性的向右走........
He is still used to running on the right…

她還是習(xí)慣性的向左走........
She is still used to running on the left…

大雨將他們淋的濕透了，但是他們的心是溫暖的
They are both soaked by the rain, but they feel warm inside.

這一夜，兩人都興奮的失眠......
That night, they are too excited to go to sleep.

雨，滴滴答答的下了一整夜。
The rain falls the whole night.

但是，人生總有許多的意外，握在手里的風(fēng)箏，也會(huì)突然斷了線
However, there are so many unexpected surprises in people’s lives.The string of the kite might be suddenly broken even you are holding it tightly.

12月23日寒流來襲，清晨的氣溫，降的好低好低。Dec.23. Storm. The morning temperature drops very very low.

12月24日雨下不停的圣誕夜Dec.24. Christmas Eve. Rain.

哪兒都不敢去，害怕錯(cuò)過任何一通電話.......
Dare not to go anywhere for afraid of missing any phone calls…

望著模糊的字跡，打了一通又一通錯(cuò)誤的電話.......
Rain has blurred the numbers; they dialed one wrong number after another…

12月31日　氣溫低寒，冷氣團(tuán)徘徊不去，雨仍持續(xù)的下著........Dec.31. Freezing Cold. Still raining.

他們沮喪的無法入睡· 　收音機(jī)里傳來，市府廣場(chǎng)前倒數(shù)讀秒的歡呼聲，　一年又這樣過去了。
Too sad to go to sleep. The cheers of counting down the seconds for the New Year in front of the City Hall comes from the radio, One year is gone.

1月5日　下午刮起一陣陣刺骨的冷風(fēng)，寒流又來了……Jan.5. Cold and Windy. Storm is coming.

1日12日　天氣終于放睛，陽光短暫出現(xiàn)，氣溫反而下降。Jan.12. The sun comes out at last. Sunshine periods. Temperature drops.

都市的變化，令人錯(cuò)愕。公園的噴水池，蓋起了高架道路。
The change in the city is overwhelming. The fountain in the park is torn down for a highway.

2月1日　氣溫回升，依舊感到寒冷。

　他樂觀的告訴自己，

　也許就像電影里的情節(jié)一樣，

　在下一個(gè)街頭的轉(zhuǎn)角，

　或是公園旁的咖啡廳里，

　就會(huì)再遇到她。
He tells himself optimistically,
maybe just like the movies,
at the next street corner,
or at the café next to the park,
he will meet her again.

2月14日　情人節(jié)的夜晚，疏落的星星在夜空中一閃一閃。Feb.14. Valentine’s Eve. Scattered stars blink in the night sky.

走在凄冷的街角，

一棵掛著七彩燈的枯樹，

突然亮了起來，

她忍不住哭了。
Walking on the cold street,
The colorful bulbs light a tree suddenly.
She can’t help crying.

2月28日　路邊的杜鵑花盛開，聽說山里的櫻花也開了。Feb.28. Plum flowers are blossoming along the street and in the hills.

日子一天天過去，誰也沒有再遇到誰。
Days passed one after another, they never meet again.

3月9日　空氣中彌漫著青草的香味，春天來了。Mar.9. The smell of the grass is flowing in the air, spring comes.

走在人群中，格外思念那段甜蜜卻短促的相逢。

在這個(gè)熟悉又陌生的都市中，

無助的尋找一個(gè)陌生又熟悉的身影。
Walking in the crowd, missing that sweet but short time so much.
In this familiar while strange city,
Looking for a strange but familiar person helplessly.

3月23日　天氣日漸溫暖，晚上有月亮，也有星星。Mar. 23. Warm. Moonshine and stars.

　在這個(gè)熟悉又陌生的城市中，

　無助的尋找一個(gè)陌生又熟悉的身影。
In this familiar while strange city,
Looking for a strange but familiar person helplessly.

3月30日　雨季來了。Mar.30. Monsoon is coming.

下雨的日子就會(huì)想起他。
Always miss her at the raining day.

她怎么可以無聲無息的，就在這個(gè)城市消失？
How can she disappear without any message?

4月13日雨季結(jié)束.遠(yuǎn)方，鴿子在空中盤旋

夢(mèng)想飛到城市上空搜尋她的蹤跡

5月9日　黃昏時(shí)天空是玫瑰色的，過一會(huì)兒就變成深沉的寶石藍(lán)。May 9. The dusk sky turns to rose red, then, dark sapphire blue.

喜歡一個(gè)人坐在城市的角落沉思。
Like pondering while sitting at a corner of the city.

5月18日　傍晚，吹起微微的南風(fēng)，艷紅的夕陽緩緩落下，夏日近了。May 18. Sunset. Light wind. The ruby red sun is setting down little by little. Summer is close.

夜晚閃燦的燈火讓人覺得特別空虛寂寞。
The blinking night neon lamps make people feel more empty and alone.

6月9日　大塊的云朵停在空中，一動(dòng)也不動(dòng)。June 9. Thick clouds blanket the sky quietly.

心情無緣無故的低落，對(duì)自己的孤單，感到有些莫名的哀傷。
Mood is inexplicable low. Feel unexpected sad and empty.

他還在這個(gè)城市嗎？還是早就離去？
Is she still in this city, or, has she left long ago?

但是，他們卻......But, they…

逗過同一只黃色小花貓，喂過同一只流浪狗，
teased the same yellow kitten, gave food to the same homeless dog,

在陽光微弱的早晨，聽到同一只烏鴉的叫聲。
listened to the singing of the same crow in the dim mornings.

9月24日早晨有薄薄的霧，聽說山里的楓葉開始轉(zhuǎn)紅。

看著同樣的窗景,聞著同樣的氣味，聽著鄰居日日彈奏的阿拉貝斯克練習(xí)曲

10月5日天氣涼了，公元的葉子漸漸染成了金黃色

走過相同的樹林小徑，踩碎相同的落葉

逗過同一個(gè)寶寶，
They teased the same little baby.

都知道她有一頂兩個(gè)長(zhǎng)耳朵的綠色小呢帽.....
They both remember she has a green toque with long bunny ears…

10月26日　風(fēng)吹過，葉子搖搖晃晃的掉下來.Oct.26. Windy. Leaves begin to drop.

對(duì)彼此的記憶，

只剩下一張被雨淋濕的電話號(hào)碼。
The phone numbers blurred by the rain
are the only memory for each other.

12月6日　天氣涇寒。Dec.26. Freezing cold.

如此靠近卻又如此遙遠(yuǎn)。
So close while so faraway.

12月17日　又是看不見太陽、星星、月亮的一天。Dec. 17. A day without sun, star and moon.

城市猶如沒有圍墻的囚房，令人疲憊、窒息........
The city feels like a jail without walls. Tired and suffocated…

12月22日　毛毛細(xì)雨好像永遠(yuǎn)下不停。Dec.22. The sprinkle seems never to stop.

決定離開這個(gè)荒寒的城市。
Decide to leave this deserted and cold city

到一個(gè)陽光燦爛的地方旅行。
for a place with sunshine everyday.

12月23日　開始飄雪，這個(gè)城市已經(jīng)有好多年不曾下雪了。Dec.23. Snow. It has not snowed for many years in this city.

他還是習(xí)慣向左走。
He is still used to walking on the right.

她還是習(xí)慣向右走。
She is still used to walking on the left.

雪，靜靜的落下.....
Snowflakes keep on falling quietly…

3月8日天氣晴朗，朵朵白云在天空飄游

春天終于來了...

那年的冬天特別寒冷，整個(gè)城市籠罩在陰濕的雨里。

灰蒙蒙的天空，遲遲不見著陽光，讓人感到莫名的沮喪，

常常走在街上就有一種落淚的沖動(dòng)····

但是冬天總是會(huì)過去，春天總是會(huì)來····
That winter was extremely cold.

Gray sky, and no sunshine.
Inexplicably depressed.
